Postal Dept. comes to Aid of Uttarakhand victims

Good News :

Department of Posts has now come forward for the help of Uttarakhand flood victims by sending the relief material without any postal charges. This facility will be available in all Head Post offices across the country up to 20th July, 2013. The Package containing relief material will be accepted up to 35 Kg of weight for a single package. It has been decided by India Post to collect the relief material from the general public / institutions / agencies /NGO free of postage and dispatch the same to Uttarakhand State as a goodwill gesture
