·         Boat allowance – 500 per month in one case

v  Hiring of generators water/air coolers, Heaters, air conditioner, Franking machine – Rs. 5000/-

v  Emergent purchase of Articles of stock & Stationery not ordinarily available in the Stock -up to Rs. 50000/- (Fifty Thousand) PA after obtaining Non-Availability certificate from PSD

Each meet – up to Rs. 5000/- with a ceiling of Rs. 1000/- on hiring, Rs. 100/- per head on Tea, snacks etc.

v  Rs. 50 per head on stationery and ancillaries.

v  Purchase Furniture, Fitting of offices including Tiffin rooms, Rest room, Holiday homes: Per annum per office:

                     -HSG MBCs/TMOs/DO – Up to Rs. 50000/-

                     - LSG MBCs/TMOs - Up to Rs. 25000/-

                     - PSO– Up to Rs. 15000/-

                     -HRO/SRO – Up to Rs. 10000/-

                    -Office of ASRM/MO/RO – Up to Rs. 7000/-

v  FSC are not admissible for an officer in charge of ED sub or Branch post office.

Note: all the same with compare to postal division except above

v  Ad-hoc payment of arrears of pay and allowances – Rs. 10000/-

Honorarium and rewards:

I. Per individual per annum – Rs. 4000/-

II. Cash reward to postal employees – Rs. 5000/-

III. ED – for devotion to duty – Rs. 2000/-

-In other cases, the power should only be Rs.20000/- appearing against Sl 14(b)(i) of schedule-II

-Procurement of Laptop/Notebook through GeM-Upto 80000/-(exclusive of taxes) in each case, subject to limit fixed at Sl No 11(a) to 11(c) of schedule-II

Ø  Full Powers in case of authorities vested with powers to refer cases to arbitration otherwise Rs. 10000/- in each case.

Ø  Meals supplied to staff – Rs. 50 per meal & Rs. 20 for breakfast per head

RENTING OF BUILDING OWNED BY THE DOP

 

v  Administrative offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata - Up to Rs. 20000 p.m.

v  Other place - Up to Rs. 10000 p.m.

v  Office cum residence same above - Up to Rs. 10000 p.m.

v  Other place - Up to Rs. 6000 p.m.

v  Renting or vacant land to outsiders - Full Power

v  HOC Provides Accommodation to recreation club, libraries, reading room & co-operative society

v  Donations, Grants – in aids etc to Co-operative society - Up to Rs. 100/-

v  Grant of interest free recoverable loan up to a maximum of eight times the paid capital or Rs. 1000/- whichever is less.

v  Purchase of stores of proprietary nature - Rs. 5 Lakh

v  Sanction of expenditure for purchases and execution of contract on negotiated or single tender basis - Rs. 10 Lakh.

 

CONTINGENT EXPENDITURE

 

v  Rs 25,000/- per annum in each case (recurring contingent expenditure)

v  Rs 60,000/- in each case (non-recurring contingent expenditure)
