All India Workshop of System Administrators/System Managers (SA/SM) in Delhi On 03rd & 04th August 2023 with DGPS
As you are aware that Department of Posts is at the cusp of transformation with the new services rising substantially. System Administrators/Managers in the Circles play a significant role in implementing many such initiatives. Thus, it is the need of the hour that the pool of System Administrators/Managers is strengthened and their capacities are built.
2. Therefore, it has been decided to organise an all India workshop of System Administrators/Managers. The workshop will provide an avenue to discuss the operational and administrative issues holistically. The objective of this workshop is to formulate a structured mechanism of selection, training and deployment of System Administrator/Manager and ascertain the problem/issues being faced by System Administrator/Managers as well as by the Postmasters in keeping the digital network of Post Offices/Branch Offices up and running.
3. The workshop will be held for 2 days (03rd& 04th August 2023) and shall be chaired by the Director General Postal Services. The venue of the workshop will be the O/o CPMG, Delhi Circle. Meghdoot Bhawan, New Delhi.
4. Circles shall nominate two System Administrators/Managers (from different divisions) who are currently working in this domain and have sufficient working experience. One Postmaster of a Head Post Office from a different division where nominated System administrators are working be also nominated to the workshop. In addition to this, one suitable official working in the PMU team of the Circle Office be nominated to this workshop. Nominations from the Circles should reach Estt. Division by 4:00 pm 28th July 2023 on ravib1350@gmail.com/ adgesttl@indiapost.gov.in.
5. Delhi Circle shall be hosting the workshop. In case of requirement for accommodation etc. Sh. Prashant Kumar, Inspector Posts (Mobile — 8920478618) and Sh. Prabhakar Jha, PA (Mobile — 70114 28092) can be contacted.
6. All participants must ensure that they reach New Delhi by 02.08.2023 evening. System Administrators/Managers & Postmasters shall be free to leave after the conclusion of session on 3rd August (Day 1). The officials of the Circle PMU shall stay back to attend the session on 4th August (Day 2)
