The Department of Posts, Government of India, successfully conducted the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) / LGO Exam 2026 on 28 June 2026 for departmental candidates across all 23 Postal Circles of India.

This examination provides eligible employees from the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Postman, Mail Guard, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) cadres with an opportunity to be promoted to the posts of Postal Assistant (PA) and Sorting Assistant (SA).
